 SKILLS REQUIRED TO BE A DATA ANALYST



The data analyst's job is to collect, process, and perform statistical analysis on large datasets. They usually find answers to the questions and solve the problems.

This job is equally suitable for both men and women. People with good communication, presentation skills can nail this job.

Talking about the salary, this may get you at the start from 4LPA to 30LPA till you become senior or expert in it.

1) SQL



SQL- Structured Query Language is the most required skill for a data analyst. It is used to handle a large data set.SQL is the 1st step or 1st most required to become a data analyst.

2)EXCEL



You all may feel excel is an old tool but it is most useful for data analysis.

3)Visualization tool




We need to learn PowerBI or Tableau for data visualization. It helps in creating creative dashboards and gives a clear idea about the data. 

4)Communication and Presentation skill



As a data analyst, a person needs to explain the data to the project manager or the stakeholders, so for the reason, we need to be crystal clear while explaining our points and for this reason, a person must have clear communication and presentation skills.

5)Python or R programming language



It is not compulsory to be well versed in the programming language. As it is not required much, but it is a plus point to have a good knowledge of Python or R programming language. It is better to learn the Python language as it is easy to learn.

6)Maths & Statistics



We need to have basic maths and statistics knowledge because statistics is one of the required concepts. It is not required to be an expert but have basics about it.

8)Problem-solving skills



This is the skill which is required by all the engineers, so just try to use your brains and try to find the solution to the problem. For every problem, there is a solution so just find those be the smartest.
