Subjects or technologies you must know before going for an interview

Hi, buddies after knowing what you must know to grab a job, now it's your turn to know the technologies and subjects you need to know before attending any campus placement exams.

You all might be really worried like what I should know, what questions they might ask, what technical requirements they have?

Don't worry I am here to help you out πŸ˜‰.

So let's jump into the list of technologies and Engineering subjects you must dive into:

Let us start with the subjects first as you all will be familiar with it a bit.

  • C language

C language is the first basic language that every CS or IT engineer student learns as it develops the logical thinking capacity of a person. C is also known as the God of programming language. It helps in learning other new programming languages. So roll your sleeves up and have a strong foundation towards it, so that you can have access to other languages easily.

  • Java

Now comes JAVA, which every student tries to learn after learning the C language. Java is based on the OOPS concept (Object Oriented Programming Language) which makes us learn the JAVA concepts more precisely. By learning JAVA it shows that you are interested in building web applications, mobile applications, and many such applications because most of the applications and software are developed using JAVA programming language. Once the interviewer comes to know that you have a good grip in JAVA then the person will make a mind to hire you by asking a few questions on it.

  • Database Management Systems (DBMS)

DBMS is a subject where you understand the management of data which is almost used everywhere. We see data in our colleges, hospitals, railway stations, airways, everything requires data management which has to done using the technologies not manually. So once you have deep knowledge of this then in the interview if you answer all the DBMS questions properly then you might get trained in the Data Science field, Big Data and you might land up having a bright future. So what are you waiting for start to increase your knowledge in DBMS too.

  • Data Structures
Data Structures!!! It is actually a fun subject πŸ˜ƒ. You must know how to arrange data for that purpose you must have knowledge of how to arrange it, store it, access it. Once you know how to play with data then you will be the king in handling the data. So what are you waiting for go through it.
To ease your efforts I have created some videos on UNACADEMY for data structures, databases, etc.
  • Python
Python is an emerging programming language. It is quite easy to learn, if you learn this new language it shows the interviewer that you are flexible to learn new technologies and languages.
This will create a positive impression of you.

Now let's go to the technologies list:

  • Big Data

Big data is a vast subject but for an Engineering level, you must know the basic concepts of it and also some day to day uses of it. So that having knowledge about some interesting topics creates a positive impact on you.
  • Internet of Things(IoT)

IoT makes dumb devices act as smarter, so if you know IoT you can seem to be a smarter person to the interviewer. With this technology you can develop many things, so buck up and develop some things so that you gain some good knowledge.

  • Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality

These are the world-changing technologies, they can confuse the world around you. Both these AR and VR have their own uniqueness. Working with these technologies creates a different impact. Working with these technologies shows that you are a creative person and love to work on new technologies. So try working on these projects.

These 3 are the booming ones, still, there are many others which are not mentioned so you can try many technologies you wish to impress an interviewer. Learning should never be stopped, so keep on learning.

Happy Learning! ALL THE BEST!!!πŸ˜„
